Diversity Statement

Santa Lucia Highlands Wine Artisans is committed to creating increased access to and diversity within the wine industry. We acknowledge that this commitment will require consistency, intention, and time. Each new and existing board member will complete DEIB education courses. We award travel scholarships for our annual Santa Lucia Highlands Somm Tour Program for individuals from underrepresented communities including, but not limited to, Black, Indigenous, Latinx, people of color, persons from racially diverse or intersectional communities, persons with disabilities, and persons from LGBTQIA+ communities. As we look to the future, we are creating programs that expand diversity among our membership.
