Marta Kraftzeck

Marta Kraftzeck has a great story. Born and raised in Monterey, she became the county’s first woman winemaker back in the 1980s. Marta is a Certified Sommelier, a Certified Wine Educator with the Society of Wine Educators, an instructor for Elderhostel (Road Scholars), a board member of Les Dames d‘Escoffier and a member of The American Institute of Wine & Food. She joined the winemaking team at Scheid Vineyards in 2009.
