Scheid Family Wines

Scheid Vineyards is 100% Monterey County. We have been winegrowers here ever since our founder, Al Scheid, planted his first vineyard in 1972. Today, we own 11 sustainably farmed vineyards totaling 4,000 acres strategically scattered along a 70-mile stretch of the Salinas Valley. The diversity of climates, soils and growing conditions allows us to produce a wide selection of wines ranging from the comfortably familiar (SLH Pinot Noir and Chardonnay) to the wonderfully exotic (Albariño, Grüner Veltliner, Grenache Blanc, Petit Manseng, Roussanne, Tannat, Tempranillo and Touriga Nacional).
