At Hahn Wines, we are more than just a vineyard; we are a legacy of passion, precision, and pride rooted in the heart of Monterey since 1980. Hahn Wines is rooted in the Santa Lucia Highlands appellation (SLH) of Monterey County, California, where founders Nicolaus (Nicky) and Gabby Hahn have made fine wine since 1980. Early on, Nicky Hahn recognized the special wine grape growing conditions of the SLH, and led efforts to establish it as an American Viticulture Area (AVA), a status attained in 1991. We take immense pride in our long-standing roots as farmers of Pinot Noir, leading with wines that exude nuance and character. As integral founders of the Santa Lucia Highlands AVA, we have shaped the region’s winemaking standards, producing wines that tell the story of our rich family history and unwavering commitment to excellence.
