About Us

Three Furies Wines was founded in 2016 by Martin Mackenzie, owner and winemaker. Three Furies Wines is the pinnacle of Martin's winemaking voice, representing a culmination of 25 years of winemaking from New Zealand to Sonoma to Napa Valley.

Born a Kiwi, Martin began his winemaking career in 1999 at the famed Stonyridge Vineyard on Waiheke Island, New Zealand. There is curated a reputation of excellence and consistency by producing the world-renowned Bordeaux blend Stonyridge Larose.

By 2008 Martin had married his California wife, Shauna Mackenzie, and they moved together to the Napa Valley where Martin spent 11 years at Petroni Vineyards, Moon Mountain AVA, Sonoma County, where he honed the grape growing and winemaking practices, elevating the brand from obscurity to consistent acclaim.

In 2021 Martin moved his professional career to Howell Mountain, Napa Valley, at Neal Family Vineyards where he is head of winemaking and excited to continue producing excellent wines in conjunction with one of Napa Valley's most experienced growers, Mark Neal.

Three Furies Wines is Martin and Shauna's expression of perfection and purity in a bottle, with each Furie representing Pinot Noir through their respective AVAs:
