About Us

William D Grant purchased the 80 acre parcel in 1972 from Jerry and Myron Mcfarland. The Mcfarlands were the managing partners for 50 years, and planted 60 acres in Chardonnay vines. La Reina vineyard was among the first vineyards dedicated to the Chardonnay grape in the area. The descendants of Mr. Grant are now managing the 60 acres of the original Chardonnay vines.
